Bettye Williams Lott

Bettye Wade Lott died peacefully at the Rose Garden of the Orchard Sunday, December 21, 2014. A memorial graveside service will be held Wednesday December 24, 2014 at 1:00pm at the Belzoni City Cemetery.

Bettye was preceded in death by her husband Harold Lott of Belzoni, her “sista” Mildred Meyer of Little Rock and her much loved Dog “Schatz”

She is survived by her daughter Deborah Lott Walker (Andy) of Madison, her niece, Sharron Holmes, of Little Rock, and Sharron’s children and grandchildren. Her nephew George Russell (Mary), Haleyville, AL. and their son and grandson.

She attended MSCW. Bettye was a wonderful wife, mother, “sista”, and mother-in-law. She retired from the State after being the UMMC nursing School Housemother. She had been an active member of Christ United Methodist Church Women’s Group, and the First United Methodist Church of Belzoni.

Deborah and Andy would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Waterford, of Ridgeland. The Staff at the Rose Garden at the Orchard of Ridgeland, and Christine Taylor her long time caregiver of Jackson.
