Mr. Billy, (as we called him), was a very inspirational uplifting soul. I knew him from my office at Copeland, Cook, Taylor and Bush where he was the grounds keeper. He always had a smile, a happy memory, and words of wisdom to share with those who spoke with him. We had many a conversation in the lunch room. I was sad to see him leave when he finally retired for the 2nd or maybe even 3rd time in his life. I will always have a special place in my heart for Mr. Billy and wish him all the best on his spiritual journey. I know his family will miss him but take comfort in the fact that he lived a long full life and was one of the best human beings I have ever had the privilege to meet. Rest in Peace Mr. Billy.

He was truly one of the greatest men I have ever known. He was hard working, loyal, kind, patient, and generous just to name a few of his best qualities. He loved his family and friends and genuinely cared for the well being and fair treatment of others. Grandpaw loved an ice cold “co-cola”. Whenever I have one from now on, I’ll think of him.
