In 1950, he worked for Jewell Tea Company and moved to Texas with his boss. Charles won many awards for Top Performing Salesman.
In 1970, he became owner of his own company, Brantley Auto Parts, in Arlington, TX, and franchise owner of Snap-On Tools, during which time he was top performer in sales, winning many awards.
In 1995, he retired and moved to Live Oak, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Colonel Brantley and Susye Truesdale, as well as four brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nasemary Brantley; son, Charles Brantley, Jr.; daughters, Debbie Brantley and Karen Kimball; granddaughter, Katherine Cook; grandson, Kolton Kimball; great-granddaughter, Rory Cook; nephew, Chris Brantley; various other nieces and nephews here in the United States, as well as England, Australia, and Malasia.
