On September 25, 1950, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ saw that it was good to breathe a breath of life into one of his children. Born Charles Drane in Attala County, Mississippi to the late Mr. Houston and Sarah Lee Allen Drane. Charles was the second born of thirteen siblings.
Charles Drane departed his earthly life on Thursday August 13, 2026.
At an early age, Charles confessed his life to Christ at Southern Hill M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. S.W. Winston in Canton, MS. While at Southern Hill, he served faithfully as a deacon in the church. He later followed his wife’s calling and became a dedicated brother and member of Deliverance and Healing Ministries, until his health failed.

Charles was a dedicated worker, and these experiences gave him a lifelong career in painting and carpentry. He also loved landscaping and being outdoors. You would often find him with the weed-eater in his hand or mowing away as his heart desired.
Charles Drane met his life companion, Georgia Mae Thompson of Canton, Mississippi. From there, they would go on to share a loving 43 years of marriage until the faithful end. They were united in holy matrimony on December 26, 1982.
