Claudia was born in Deemer, MS on September 1, 1935 to Beatrice and Claude Adkins. She attended Deemer High School.
Claudia married Harry Sims, and they had two daughters, Valerie Sims Walley (Ben) and Ginger Murphree (Mike). She worked in secretarial and office management roles at several jobs including Mississippi Steel, Riverside Hospital, Kelwynn, and for Dr Fred McMillan. Claudia was also a proud member of the Malabouchia Chapter of National Secretaries.
Claudia is survived by her daughters and step-granddaughter, Meagan Camp of Tallahassee, FL, and was predeceased by her husband, Harry Sims, and her brothers, OL Adkins and Bud Adkins.
Graveside services will be held at Floral Hills in Pearl on Tuesday, March 18 at 11 AM.
The family sends sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at Baptist and Arden Home who took such wonderful care of Claudia during her brief illness.
