Clinton Kennedy "Ken" Sample, 71, passed away Friday, July 11. 2014. A memorial service will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 11:00am Monday, July 14, 2014, with visitation starting at 10am.
Ken was born June 27, 1943, in Jackson, TN to Clinton Kennedy Sample Sr. and Betty Wade Sample. He graduated from Murrah High and earned a BS Degree in Business from MS State. After serving 4 years in the Navy as a corpsman, he joined Xerox as a salesman and retired as an Executive Manager after 31 years. He and Karen married July 11, 1970 and joined Christ UMC in 1980.
Survivors include his wife, Karen D. Sample; sons, Clinton Kennedy "C.K." (Kristin) Sample III and Kevin L. (Marie) Sample; grandchildren, Jackson Darcy, Emmett, and Elena Sample; sisters, Mary Frances Staton and Patricia (Jim) Bendall; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
