Colleen H. Kolb, 90, widow of Philip Kolb, Sr., died Thursday April 3, 2014 at St. Dominic Hospital. Visitation will be 3-5pm Sunday April 6, 2014 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland. A funeral service will be 10:00am Monday April 7, 2014 at the funeral home preceded by visitation at 9am. Graveside services will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Rev. Murray Allen of St. Catherine’s Village will officiate.
Mrs. Kolb was the daughter of the late Edward L. Hamilton and the late Alta Woolsey Hamilton. She graduated from Gulfport High School, Perkinston Junior College and Mississippi State University.
Survivors include a daughter, Alta May Stevens of Puckett; 4 grandchildren, William Joseph Stevens of Flowood, Grace Colleen Stevens Glenn of Mize, Ryen Leigh Stevens Combest of Jackson, and Jacob Matthew Stevens of Puckett; and 5 great-grandchildren; She leaves one sister, Sybil H. Roos of Chattanooga, TN; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Catherine’s Village Foundation, 200 Dominican Dr., Madison, MS 39110.
