Connie D. Warfield

Mrs. Connie Day Bowden Warfield, 95, passed away on July 10, 2012. Visitation will be held on Saturday July 14, 2012 from 9:00 until 11:00 AM at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home, Ridgeland with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM in the chapel. Burial will be at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Warfield was born and raised in Ruleville. As an adult, she lived in Memphis, TN, Cleveland, Gunnison, Diamondhead, and Jackson, MS. She was an avid bridge player and a member of a number of bridge and luncheon clubs. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and loved to give things away. She understood that if you give something away it lasts forever. She will be remembered for her beauty, poise, and love of life and family.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Pete Bowden, her son "Skip" Bowden, and 10 siblings. She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Scott Warfield, grandson Mark Bowden and wife Rhonda of Brandon, granddaughter Lisa Boswell and husband Jim of Atlanta, daughter-in-law Carol Bowden of Jackson, five great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews, including Betty Bridewell, Patricia Day Verde, Carol Day, Julie Day, Joanne Day, and Diane Day.
