

Donald Herman Fiet, 81, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on February 2, 2012. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00pm Saturday February 4, 2012 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home, Highland Colony Parkway with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
Don was born May 4, 1930 in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Ogden High School, attended Weber State College and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean conflict. Don worked for many years in both residential and commercial construction and travelled extensively throughout the world. He was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Ridgeland where he was an inspiration to many for his faithfulness and courage.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Tish Fiet; daughters Sherry Rock of Greensburg, LA and Vickie Moelter of Eden, Utah; stepdaughters Jackie Burt of Bristol, TN and Jennifer Luna (David) of Senatobia, MS; stepson, Leonard Clark (Tracey) of Monticello, MS; 18 grandchildren; and brother Lee Fiet of Mesa, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perneica and Herman Fiet and daughter, Jackie Fiet.
Don was a fun loving man who knew how to do anything. He once made a list of over 60 jobs he had worked at during his life. His unique sense of humor will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to thank Sta Home Hospice, Dr. Robert Russell, the other doctors and nurses who supported him over the years.
