There will be a graveside service on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 1:30 pm with Reverend Clifford Nelson officiating, to be held at Parkway Memorial Cemetery, 1161 Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
Edna's early life was spent in Hinds County in the Bolton area, she then moved to New Orleans where she married Frank Bonhagen, they had one daughter, Cathie; after his death she moved back to Mississippi where she met and married Pat Norris, they had one son, Rusty. Pat's work took the family to Texas, living in Abilene, Midland, and Jacksonville. While in Texas, Rusty graduated from Texas A&M University. After Pat's death in 1994, she moved back to Mississippi living in Bolton until marrying Ed Mooneyham and residing in Madison, MS, then moving back to Bolton in 2017. Family was most important to her and prior to the last years when age began to slow her down she loved cooking and getting together with them, always wanting to send something home with you. Her joy was doing for others, and always has hugs for her children, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest Elliot Roberts and Eula Holliday Roberts; by husbands, Frank Bonhagen, John P. (Pat) Norris, and Edgar (Ed.) P. Mooneyham; daughter, Catherine Bonhagen Jones; brother, James (Jimmy) Elliot Roberts; and sisters, Barbara Roberts Newman and Birdanell Roberts Newman. She is survived by her son, Rusty Norris (Bonnie) of Wylie, TX; son-in-law, Garry Jones of Scottsdale, AZ; grandson, Skyler Norris and granddaughter, Larkin Norris of Wylie, TX; grandson, Will White (Candy) of Brandon, FL; granddaughter, Chris Cameron (Mark) of Flagstaff, AZ; brother, John Roberts of Picayune, MS; sisters, Earlene Martin of Raymond, MS, Ouida Katsaboulas of Jackson, MS, Linda Mason of Bolton, MS and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
