Elizabeth Barth

Monday morning March 24, 2014, Elizabeth Barth of Clinton, went to be with her Lord after a brief illness at the age of 87. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Wright and Ferguson in Ridgeland from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday at Grace Bible Church starting at 2:00pm with Visitation one hour before. Burial will follow at Flora Cemetery.

Mrs. Barth was born Elizabeth Beldyk in New Hanover, Pennsylvania August 12, 1926. She moved to Jackson with her late husband, Rev. R.C. Barth in October of 1958 to begin the ministry of Friends of Alcoholics.

For the past 14 years she had been a resident of Clinton and a member of Grace Bible Church in Ridgeland.

Mrs. Barth is survived by her brother, Robert Beldyk of Fayetteville, PA; Her daughter Ginger Caessens, of Bremerton WA; her son Rick Barth of Waukesha, WI; her son Dan Barth of Houston, TX and her daughter Debbie Foley Riddick of Brandon, MS. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Her life verse was Philippians 3: 10-11 her favorite passage in the Bible was Psalm 73: 17-28.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Friends of Alcoholics, Grace Bible Church or the RC Barth Foundation.
