I am so very sorry to hear of Eloise's death.  We always loved Aunt Ida, Uncle George, Eloise and Terrell.  I have so many fond memories of trips from Hattiesburg to Jackson with Uncle George when he was conductor on the IC Railroad passenger train from Jackson to the Coast, meals in the dining car, etc., then time with the family when they lived on Beverly Circle.  I am so glad Tess and I stopped by to see Eloise on one of our trips to Little Rock.  She was just as I remembered her, maybe repeating things a bit more, but laughing and enjoying life. Eloise always had a warm smile, a cheerful greeting and encouraging word for friends, visitors, and staff at the Orchard. She looked for the very best in each person and every circumstance.  With keen intellect and sharp wit, Eloise's beautiful blue eyes would sparkle as she shared sweet stories of her life.  Eloise made the world a better place and was a blessing; a treasured gift.  Terry Lynn and Mary Haley, my prayers are with you.

She was a dear friend to my mother and always a sweetheart to me.  She lit up the room with her smile and laugh.  Blessings and peace to you, Terry Lynn.

What a fun lady! She shall be missed, but hey she shall be with love of her life. Also she and her special friend Amaw will meet once again. Wow !!!!

I will miss Eloise and our visits at the Orchard.  She was an amazing, lovely lady.

Mrs. Wise was one of the finest ladies to ever cross my path. She was always gracious and a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and a valued friend to all lucky enough to know her.
