Frances was born in Alexandria, Louisiana, on June 10, 1937. She was a 1955 graduate of Central High School in Jackson and attended Millsaps College.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years-Rex D Martin, her parents-William Maxwell and Frances Berry Harrison, and her sister-Catherine Harrison Johns.
Frances is survived by two daughters-Lynne Martin Owens and Laura Martin, son-in-law-James Owens, grandsons- Sean Owens, Matthew Owens and, Reese Owens, cherished pet-Lollie Belle, and 10 nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank her caregiver-Shanna Brown, for the love and compassion she has shown our sweet “Nana” over the past 2 1/2 years.
Visitation is planned from 3:00-4:30 pm on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home on Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland, Mississippi. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton County, Mississippi.
