Gerald Harvey Siemsen

Gerald was born October 31, 1931 on a farm near Holyrood, Kansas, the son of Nellie Margaret (Finke) and Albert Walter Siemsen. He married Martha Lou (Knight) on June 15, 1991 in Steele, Missouri.

Gerald was a Medical Consultant for the Social Security Administration, a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Medical Association.

He is survived by his wife, Martha; daughters, Debra Kay Tillinghast, Clifton, KS, Kimberly Maloney, Cedar Park, KS, and Dana Smith, Houston, TX; two stepdaughters, Lee Ann Cummings, Brandon, MS, and Amy Michelle Krumalis, Southaven, MS; brothers, Donald Siemsen, Holyrood, KS, Delbert Siemsen, Durham, CA, and Harold Siemsen, Holyrood, KS; and sister, Marilyn Smith, Colorado Springs, CO.

A celebration will take place at Stillwater Church at The Waterford in Ridgeland, MS on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm. His ashes will be scattered at the Siemsen family farm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Stillwater Church at The Waterford in Ridgeland, or Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland.
