She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Collier, married May 11, 1962. Kevin & Ricky Collier, sons, Charlie & Birdie (Joiner) Ballard, parents, Bernard Ballard, brother. She is survived by her two brothers, Jimmie & Sam Ballard, sister, Judy McDaniel, a daughter, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will take place at Parkway Memorial Funeral Home, 1161 Highland Colony Parkway, Friday May 23 from 10a-12p with Rev. Ed McDaniel officiating after visitation. Interment will follow at Parkway Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggest memorials be given to St. Jude's or The Bible Literature Foundation.
