Gloria was born in Baton Rouge, LA on March 13, 1927. She and her family moved to Jackson in 1944 from Alexandria, LA. She graduated from Central High School and continued living here with the rest of her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry R. Davis; sister, Doris Lindley; and her son, Rip Davis. She is survived by two sons, Eddie Davis and Will Davis, as well as a sister, Willie L. Kroezze, all of Jackson; nieces, Paige Hand (Michael) and children, Tucker and Davis Hand, and Adrian Halbert (Justin) and child, Wyatt Halbert; nephews, Leslie Davis (Amy) and son, Owen Davis, and Clint Davis and daughter, Breeland Davis.
Visitation will be held at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with a graveside service following at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
