Mr. Adcock was my favorite teacher when I attended Canton Academy. I remember being in 7th grade and my first day of high school and he called me up to his desk and said you are Wren Hardy. And I said yes sir. And he told me how we were related. I can't remember exactly how! But I always liked to think I was his favorite student after that! But I know he had a way of making everyone feel like his favorite! His humor and passion for history and his family and telling stories will not be forgotten! My prayers are up for his family!

When asked recently at work if we could remember who our history teacher was in high school, I proudly said, "Mr. Harold Adcock, skip a line". God bless you Mr. Adcock.

Mr Adcock was one of those teachers that will never be forgotten by his Students. We all looked forward to what was going happen in his class everyday. I enjoyed our Ole Miss MSU debates. He will be missed, I am sorry I never got a chance to tell him how much he was appreciated by the class of 2002.

Hearing of Mr. Adcock passing really gave me a heavy heart. I never got a chance to tell him what a great teacher he was, not only history but life. A Mr Adcock story is always told when our class gets together.
We gave him a hard time but he touched every students life in some way, he will never be forgotten.
