Ida Tompkins McNiel Passed away April 4, 2012. Services will Be held on Friday April 6 at 2:00pm at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on Highland Colony parkway. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
Ida was born July 16, 1940 to Henry and Mary Tompkins of Utica, MS. She is survived by her husband of 52 Years Jeff McNiel; her son Steve McNiel(Amanda); her daughter Debbie McNiel(Judy Childs); grandsons Christopher Whitlock(Hayley); Brandon Whitlock; Brennen McNiel; Weston McNiel, and Lillie Robinson; 3 sisters, Edith Able, Lois Henehan, and Pap Mize.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 1380 Livingston Ln., Jackson, MS 39213.
