James Fred Hall

Funeral services will be held Monday March 21, 2011 at 10:00am at Bethel Baptist Church, Hazlehurst, MS.

Visitation will be Sunday March 20, 2011 from 3:00pm till 5:00pm at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home Highland Colony, Ridgeland, MS. An at the church Monday from 9:00am till service time. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Hall loved the Lord with all of his heart and made it his life’s mission to teach his children about the love of God. He took great pride in knowing that all of his children have grown to have a personal relationship with their Heavenly Father. Mr. Hall served as a leader in all of the churches he attended, most recently serving as a deacon at Bethel Baptist Church. One of the greatest joys in his later life was visiting Broadmoor Baptist church with his children and grandchildren.

Mr. Hall served in country in the U. S. Navy and proudly fought in World War II. He was proud to be able to serve the country he so dearly loved and his family enjoyed hearing about all of his experiences during the war.

He is survived by son Kenny (Stacey) Hall, Madison, MS, daughters Brenda Dopps, Clinton, MS, Faye (Joe) Walker, Oxford, MS, Lynn (Rance) Elliff, Austin, TX, Jerry (Lynn) Waltman, Hazlehurst, MS, Larry (Tessie) Waltman, Canton, MS, and Marty (Lisa) Waltman Brandon, MS, brother Ray Malone and sister Shirley Tackett, 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Waltman Hall, and stepson Ken Waltman Memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church
