Dan spent a few years working on an offshore oil rig off the coast of Louisiana, was employed with Wilson Geyer Paint Store for many years, and delivered and picked up mail for Sysco Foods before his retirement.

Dan loved archery and bowling. He later enjoyed his flea market booth selling all of the old classic movies and tv series he had watched during his life. He loved his movies along with creating crossword puzzles for the different tv categories and movie stars. It was truly his passion.
