James A. "Papa Jim" Yagow, 79, of Jackson, MS passed away on March 5, 2022. Mr. Yagow was a Certified Public Accountant and primary partner in Allen Yagow and Carr. "Papa Jim" was an avid golfer, and a Florida State Seminole Fanatic.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Viola Yagow., and two wives, Mary E. Thornton and Judy A. Yagow. He is survived by 3 children, Lisa of Springfield, IL, James Jr, of Auburn, IL, and Jennifer Beard of Brandon, MS, as well as five grandchildren, Caleb, Meghan, Jim III, Trent, and Drew. “Papa Jim” also had other children and grandchildren that he called his own.
Private services will be held for the family, and Mr. Yagow will be laid to rest at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
