

Born on December 4, 1937, in Petaluma, California, John was the beloved son of Arthur Frank Bino and Norman Brown. A man of unwavering dedication and quiet strength, he lived a life marked by service, faith, and devotion to those he loved.
John proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from July 1956 until his retirement in November 1985. As an Aircraft Mechanic, he devoted nearly three decades to ensuring the safety and excellence of the Air Force fleet, retiring from Columbus Air Force Base with the distinguished rank of Master Sergeant. His loyalty, integrity, and strong work ethic left a lasting impression on those who served beside him.
On April 18, 1968, John married the love of his life, Toni Han. Together they built a life centered on love, laughter, and family. Their 57 years of marriage stand as a testament to enduring partnership and faith.
John was a proud member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Troop 4272, in Columbus, Mississippi, and a devoted Brother Knight in the Knights of Columbus. He was known for his generosity, his quiet wisdom, and his willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He is survived by his cherished wife, Toni Bino; his loving daughter, Anna Bino Papas, and son-in-law, David Papas; and his adored grandchildren, Alexander Papas and Amber Nicole Papas, all of Virginia. John’s love for his family was the heart of his life, and his legacy will live on through their memories and stories.
Visitation will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church in Columbus, Mississippi, November 25, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well lived and a man deeply loved.
John will be remembered for his steadfast faith, his service to country and community, and the deep love he shared with all who were blessed to know him.
