Juanita Benton Henderson

Born July 31, 1930 in Steens, Mississippi to Jack and Essie Harmon. Juanita is survived by her children Mike Jackson (Jan), Barbara Cochran, and David Jackson (Claire). Granddaughter Christina Cochran, great grandchildren Brayden and Brennan; grandsons David Cochran; and Robert Jackson (Kate); and great grandchildren Lesleigh and Walker.

Juanita moved to Jackson in the mid-50's to raise her three children and to begin what turned out to be a very long career in cosmetology. Serving a clientele primarily of north Jackson residents, Juanita made many longtime friends over her 50 year career. Juanita's children have been her greatest pride and joy, devoting her life to raising them. Sending them all through college where afterwards each enjoyed their own successful career. Her grandchildren only brought more joy and happiness to her life. Great grandchildren would light up her eyes with every visit to grandma Mimi.

We are eternally grateful for Juanita's longtime caregiver Linda. Linda has been a wonderful friend and companion to Juanita and her family for many years. Also, very good friends Elizabeth and George whose frequent visits always added brightness to Juanita's day.

Such a wonderful and long life, we are thankful she has now been embraced by our Lord and Savior, and she is now fully restored in Him.
