Louise O’Quinn Marchetti died peacefully Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Chateau Ridgeland in Ridgeland, MS. She was born in Red Lick, MS, June 15, 1925. She graduated from Fayette High School and Draughon’s Business College in Jackson. After working in Jackson for Atlantic Richfield Oil Company she moved to Washington DC, where she worked at the Pentagon. She spent most of her career as a civilian employee at Naval Air Station Pensacola.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents John Singleton O’Quinn and Blanche Smith O’Quinn, husband Mack Marchetti, and brother John Louis O’Quinn. She is survived by her loving siblings sister Ruby O’Quinn Koehler; Raleigh, NC, brothers Edgar Byron O’Quinn; Huntsville, Al., and Jim O’Quinn; Madison, Ms. Also, many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and will miss her very much. Everyone should be lucky enough to have an "Aunt Lou" in their life.
A private family funeral will be held at Bayview Memorial Park, Pensacola, FL. where she will be laid to rest next to her loving husband Mack.
The family would like to thank the staff and her many friends at Chateau Ridgeland for treating Lou as family. Also, Ashley Martin and her staff for their commitment to Lou's well being.
