Lydia Rani Abraham, 18, was a beautiful, loving, and creative daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. Born on Sunday, October 1, 2006, in Jackson, Mississippi, she filled every room and heart with joy and love.
She was a junior at Madison Central High School. She loved doing archery, theatre, writing, watching shows and movies, painting, pottery, and drawing. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and cats, never failing to laugh at a good joke or beat everyone in a card game.
After a lifelong fight with Mitochondrial Disease and the many comorbidities that followed it, she passed away peacefully at Batson Children's Hospital in Jackson, MS, at 12:40 pm on Monday, February 17, 2025.
She is survived by her parents, Ashley and Elizabeth Abraham, her sisters, Esther, Bethany, and Arianna, and her grandparents, Helen Abraham, and Louis and Martha Lavallee, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is preceded by her oldest sister, Rebekah Kirubai, and her grandfather, Charles Abraham.
