

Margaret was born on October 3, 1925 in Birmingham, Alabama to Mark and Anne Yeadaker. She graduated from Central High School in Jackson, Mississippi. Margaret married Chapman Anderson West on April 15, 1950. She volunteered at Pleasant Hills Nursing Home and also enjoyed needle-point, cross-stitch, embroidery, and sewing. While in Jackson, she was a member of Alta Woods Presbyterian Church.
Margaret was a loving wife and mother, and is survived by her daughter, Georgia Anne West Roeder and her husband, Harvey C. Roeder; grandchildren, Megan Anne Swanson Phelps and Caroline Elizabeth Swanson D’Angelo; as well as her sister, Ellen Elizabeth Yeadaker Nesossis. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Chapman Anderson West.
Visitation for Mrs. Margaret will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS, as well as on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Parkway, followed by a graveside service at 1:30 pm at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.
