Margaret Earle Thatch Faubion

Margaret was born in Jackson, MS, to the late George Humpreys and Ida Norton Thatch on November 20, 1924. She attended Jackson Central High School and Belhaven College in Jackson, MS. She worked most of her life as a bookkeeper. Margaret was married to Ernest E. Faubion for almost 20 years until the time of his death in April of this year. They attended First Baptist Church, Terry, MS.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Virginia Jones; sister, Virginia Stewart, and step granddaughter, Tammy Johnson

Margaret is survived by her son, Ray Jones (Linda) of Port Neches, TX; daughters, Pat Werne (Richard) of Ridgeland, MS and Laura Bridges (Darin) of Clinton, MS; and step son Rod (Joette) Faubion of Papillion, NE. She is also survived by grandchildren: Cindy (Anthony) Jones Prince, Rachel Jones, Jennifer (Leigh) Allen, Scott (Paula) Werne, Ray (Lesley) Jones, III, Jonathan (Jamie) Werne, Mallory (Chris Booty) Mann, Cody Majors and Cotie Bridges, 15 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled Friday, May 12th, 2017, from 9:30 – 11 am at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS. Funeral services will follow at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
