

Margaret Rials Pritchard passed away peacefully in her sleep at her residence in Columbus, MS on August 22, 2017 at the age of 91. Mrs. Pritchard was born April 19, 1926 in Brookhaven, MS to Susie Lambert Rials and Joseph Rials. She was a resident of Jackson, MS for over 60 years and was a member of St. Luke Methodist Church. She retired from Baptist Hospital after 37 years of service. She was a dedicated member of Eastern Star and served with her husband in the Shriners Organization for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Thomas J. Pritchard, Sr., son Joseph L. Pritchard (Cinde) of Columbus, daughter-in-law Mary G. Pritchard of Ridgeland, sister Edith Focht of Houston, TX, Granddaughters Leigh (Randy) Dailey of Columbus, Allison Gibson of Columbus, Nikki (Brandon) Peacock of Columbus, Grandsons Tommy (Audrey) Pritchard of Oxford, Nathan (Fiance’ Jill) Pritchard of Flowood, Hal (Mary Margaret) Pritchard of Jackson, nine Great Grandchildren and eight Great-Great Grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Thomas J. Pritchard Jr., her parents, sister Johnnie Mae Rials Case, brothers Hancy Rials, J.L. Rials and Earl Rials.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 26th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS and services are at 11:30 am with her grandson Hal J. Pritchard officiating and burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Pallbearers will include her Grandsons as mentioned and her Great Grandsons, Joseph B. Gibson, Dawson Gibson, Macallan Gibson, Lyric Peacock, and Laikyn Peacock.
