Michael was born in Jackson, MS on July 30, 1957, to Imogene and Michael C Greenhill. He graduated from Jackson Preparatory School in 1975.
Mike married Debbie Berry, and together they had 3 children Michael. Lauren and Lindsey. Mike was the owner and President of Greenhill Management, an insurance brokerage. He began his career in insurance at the young age of 25 and built a very successful agency.
Before he began his career in insurance, he was a full-time musician. He loved playing his guitar and singing. He was a performer, and these times were some of his happiest. He loved to entertain. He had the privilege of playing with some of the best musician’s around. His latest band was Greenfish.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He adored his family. He was most happy spending time with his family. He was also a wonderful friend to many people.
Mike is survived by his wife of 43 years, Debbie Greenhill. His children Michael (Taylor)Greenhill, Lauren (Deen) Barrier and Lindsey (D.J.) Goolsby. He also survived by his 5 Grandchildren, Bryce Greenhill, Ryder Goolsby, Korbin Goolsby, Riggs Barrier and Scarlett Greenhill. He is predeceased by his Father Michael C. Greenhill, Mother Imogene Greenhill and His brother Jeff Greenhill.
Funeral Services will be held at Parkway Funeral Home on Thursday December 15.
In lieu of flowers the family asked for Memorial Donations to be made to Christians in Action, Inc P. O. Box 7676 Jackson, MS 39284.
