I was saddened to hear of Mitch's homegoing. He always had a smile and a kind/most thoughtful spirit. Mitch was certainly one of those people who made working at Entergy a great experience. I will certainly keep the Harkins family in my thoughts and prayers.

I just heard this morning of Mitch's passing. I am both shocked and saddened. I've known Mitch for almost 20 years- he served as Entergy's account manager for Tougaloo College. What a great man- always willing to help the College in any way he could. He always talked so fondly about his family. It was a blessing to know him. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. May God continue to watch over all of you.

After moving back to MS from TX to work at MP&L, I had the sincere pleasure of working with Mitch in Gloster MS. He was a friend and a mentor; and he was a true class act no matter what challenges he faced. Mitch, Fred, Hiram and others from that era will all do a great job of keeping the lights on in Heaven.

Linda, Mitch was a wonderful person, a true friend and like Mike Moss said, a "real stand-up guy", What a wonderful example he set for his friends and family. I have very fond memories of us growing up. He will be missed by a whole lot of people. I am so very sorry for your loss!
