She was welcomed into her heavenly home by her Lord and Savior. Graveside Services will be Sunday, October 25, at Parkway Funeral Home, Ridgeland, MS. Dr. Ron Bird will be officiating.
She was born December 28, 1929, to Hicks and Alta Corrine Williams in Greenwood, MS. In 1948, she married the love of her life, Max, and they started their family in Greenwood before moving to Jackson. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt who found joy in caring for her family.
Mrs. Reves was an active member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, where she taught children’s Sunday School, served on many committees and helped wherever needed.
In the mid 60’s Mrs. Reves started working for Docs Name Pins, then later joined Dixie Advertising where she worked until she retired. In 1997, she and Max moved to Madison and joined Broadmore Baptist Church, where she again served faithfully until 2012. She then moved to Hattiesburg to live with her daughter and son-in-law. In 2018, she moved to Canton, MS.
Mrs. Reves was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Hicks Williams, Senior of Greenwood, infant son William Norris Reves of Greenwood, brother Mr. Edgar Hicks Williams, Junior of Greenwood, sister Mrs. Evelyn Williams Wood of Metairie, LA, granddaughter Ms. Chris Valerie Reves of Mobile, AL, her husband of 53 years, Mr. Max Norris Reves of Madison, daughter-in-law Mrs. Carolyn Ann Reves of Vancleave, grandson Mr. Patrick Seth Brown of Foley, AL.
Survived by her 4 children, Mr. Bart (Rachel) Reves of Vancleave, Mr. John (Barbara) Reves of Terry, Mr. Dennis (Sandy) Reves of Madison, Mrs. Lisa (Dr. Bill) Armstrong of Hattiesburg, 9 grandchildren, Dr. Jonathan (Kailen) Reves of Clinton, Mrs. Mallory (Klint) Keown of Little Rock, AR, Mrs. Shelby (Drew) Hammack of Warrensburg, MO, Mr. Cooper (Jackie) Reves of Washington, DC, Dr. Peyton (Hunter) Treutel of Madison, Dr. Chad (Mary Catherine) Armstrong of Chattanooga, TN, Mrs. Claire (Matt) Bird, of Hattiesburg, Mr. Clay (Laura) Armstrong of Cypress, TX, Mrs. Holly Washam of Owasso, OK, 15 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
