Myra Hawkins Weaver

Myra Hawkins Weaver, 85, of Spring TX passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Myra was born in LaGrange, GA, daughter of the late Alvah and Virginia Hawkins. Myra was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 60 years, Ernest Weaver, her son, Keith Weaver and her brother Alvah Hawkins, Jr. She is survived by her son Stephen (Kimberly) and by her sister, Phebe Gonthier. She is also survived by her four grandchildren Nicholas Weaver, Alexis Weaver, Andrew Weaver and Christopher Weaver and many loving nieces and nephews.

A faithful Christian servant her entire life, Myra was a long-time member of Woodville Heights Baptist Church in South Jackson and was a faithful member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church before moving to Houston in 2017 to be closer to her son, daughter in law and grandchildren. She was a devoted Grandmother to her grandchildren and they were the light of her life. Her loving spirit lives on through each of them.

Myra was a loving wife and devoted Mother who will be remembered most for her faith, the love of her family, and her service to others. She always put others first and lived her life that way. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
