Newell "Butch" Allen Dennison Jr.

Butch was born on August 22, 1942 in Richmond, Va. to Newell Allen Dennison Sr. and Myrtis Usry Dennison. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Buddy.

He was a kind man who loved his family with all of his heart & soul.

Butch served in the U.S. Air Force and was a graduate of the University Of Southern Miss.

He loved to read and was very astute in current affairs, sports and government and he also had a deep love for the Ole Miss Rebels.

His lifelong teaching career span over forty three years with the last seventeen at Madison Central High School. He had a passion for teaching and took pride in the success of his students.

Butch has been married to the love of his life Suzanne Templeton for over thirty four years.

He is survived by his wife, and four children, Sons Jeremy,Lee, Daughters Jamie, and Missy Breeden (John) his sister Gloria Allen Hill (John), sister-in-law Vicki Dennison, five grand children and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Sunday May 8, 2016 at Parkway Funeral Home Ridgeland, Ms. Visitation will be 2:00 to 3.00 P.M. with grave side services at 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the March Of Dimes or the charity of your choice.
