Norman Freer Graham, 87, formerly of Gulfport, MS, died Monday, January 24. 2011. Visitation will be Friday, January 28, 2011 from 10:00-11:00am at St. Columb’s Episcopal Church with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00am. Burial will be at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Graham, who has lived in the Jackson area since 2005, was born in Montour Falls, New York November 6, 1923. He served in the US Army during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart and two Bronze Star Metals with oak leaf clusters. He was Director of the Harrison County Library System and was a former member of St. Peter’s by the Sea where he led the lectionary class for 25 years and served on the Vestry.
He is survived by his wife Marian A. Graham of Madison; sons, Justin A. Graham of Mannsdale, MS and Clinton A. Graham and wife Diane of Madison; sister, Helen Graham Mayhue of Lafayette, LA.
