Ollie Blume was born on February 22, 1937 to Inez and William Caperton Johnson in Sebastopol, MS later moving to Decatur, MS. After graduating high school, Ollie married Joe L. Johnson, her soulmate, and moved to Jackson, MS, where she was a stay at home mother and housewife.
Ollie was predeceased by her husband Joe L. Johnson, P.E. December 31, 2013. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Selena Sutterfield; her grandson, Andrew Harr (Ashlee); her granddaughter, Emma Sutterfield; her great granddaughter, JoLee Harr; her great grandson, Henry Harr as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Parkway Funeral Home Friday and Saturday. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, March 31st, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. As well as, Saturday, April 1st from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 1st at Parkway Funeral Home, 1161 Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, MS 39157. Burial will be held on premises following the funeral service.
