Ollie Rhea Risher

Ollie Rhea Risher, 91 , passed away Friday May 13, 2016 at Riggs Manor in Raymond. Visitation will be 5-7pm Monday May 16, and 10 am Tuesday May 17, at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday May 17, 2016 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Ollie Rhea, born in Mt. Olive, MS, was a longtime member of both Van Winkle and Woodville Heights Baptist churches and recently of Wynndale Baptist Church. She was retired from the MS Employment Security Commission.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Sidney E. Risher. Survivors include her three sons, Sidney Risher Jr. (Rebecca) of Raymond, Jimmy Risher (Wanda ) of Terry and Bobby Risher (Vickie) of Terry; grandchildren, Brian Risher (Jami) of Flora, Julia Kelly (Layne) of Palastine, TX, Robbie Risher (Cindy) of Nesbit, Jim Risher (Sarah) of Sidon, Ricky Risher of Pearl, and Anna Kimmons (Christopher) of Clinton; great- grandchildren, Taylor Kelly, Mattie Kelly, Shelby Risher, Annie Risher, and Sophie Risher; sister Nancy Adcock of Jacksonville, FL; and many nieces, nephews and other family members
