Opal Elon Smith, 86, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at her home.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Monday January 7 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home on Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland and 11:00 am Tuesday January 8 at Flora United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday at the church with burial to follow in Flora Cemetery.
Survivors include sons, Charles Smith (Tina), and Jimmy Smith; daughters Wanda Thomas, Linda Long (Bo), and Claire McDill; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sisters Eloise Buchanan (Jimmy), Elsie Gatlin (Clayton) and numerous other family members
