Patricia Sue Hendrix

Patricia "Pat" Nicholson Hendrix, 71, of Ridgeland, MS died Saturday, February 20, 2010 in Hattiesburg, MS. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 22, 2010 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel on Highland Colony Parkway with Father Michael Nations officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM on Monday at Highland Cemetery in Hattiesburg, MS. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home on Highland Colony Parkway and one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Pat was born in Jackson, MS on July 21, 1938. She was employed as the Deputy Circuit Clerk of Jackson and had been a faithful employee for the past 25 years.

Pat Hendrix was known by all who loved her as a woman who valued her family above all else. She was often called MeeMaw or MaMaw, by not only by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, but the multitude of people she came into contact with everyday. She was a woman of great strength, fierce determination and abundant love.

Survivors include her son Michael Grey Jones and his wife Shelley of Tupelo, MS. Three daughters, Kathryn Resio and her husband Don of Vicksburg, MS., Cynde Houston and her husband Mike of Richland, MS and Wynde Fitts and her husband Gene of Hattiesburg, MS. One brother, Carl L. Nicholson and his wife Martha of Hattiesburg, MS. Six grandchildren, Amy Jackson and her husband Tony, Ashley Davidson and her husband Jeff, Nathan Jones, Lora Claire Jones, Kayla Jones and Amanda Jones. Five great grandchildren, Jonathan Jackson, Drew Jackson, Addison Jackson, Ryan Davidson and Holden Davidson.
