Visitations will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 5-7 pm and Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 10-11 am. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11 am, with graveside services and burial immediately following. All services will be held at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home, 1161 Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
Paul was born in Jackson, MS on March 24, 1959. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1976. In 1980, Paul received his Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi College and went on to receive his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Mississippi College School of Law in 1985. Paul was the Vice President Corporate Counsel and served 25 years at Southern Farm Bureau Casualty Company in Ridgeland, MS. Paul was a member of Grace Community Church in Jackson, MS. Paul was also the founder of the charitable organization, Seed Sower Trust, Inc. Paul was known for his quick-witted personality, deep love for his family and friends, his kind spirit, his passion for helping others, his love for Mississippi State University football and his endless cowbell collection.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Graham Perry and Alice Wynomah Brooks Perry.
Paul is survived by his wife, Nancy Bland Perry of Flowood, MS; stepdaughter Beth Crisco and her husband Jeff Kestner of Knoxville, TN; his future grandson, Kip Morris Kestner, due in October; his brother Charles (Chuck) Brooks Perry of Jackson, MS; his brother Carl Lee Perry and wife Deneice Perry of Greenville, SC; his brother William Randall (Randy) Perry and wife Julie Perry of Clinton, MS; his nephew Jonathan C. Perry of Austin, TX; his niece Angelia Perry Bevill of Buda, TX; his niece Lauren Perry Forrester and husband Philip of Greenville, SC; his niece Michelle Naylor, his nephews Justin Naylor and Austin Perry, all of Greenville, SC; his nephew Steven R. Perry of Clinton, MS; his niece Kristi N. Perry of Clinton, MS; his great niece Jaelynn Perry of Austin, TX; his great nieces Peyton Bevill and Kyra Bevill of Buda, TX; and his great niece Presley N. Tabb of Clinton, MS.
Services will be officiated by James Jennings of San Antonio, Texas, Pastor Ryan A. Sullivan and Pastor Dustin Cook of Grace Community Church of Jackson, MS. Pallbearers are Trey Belcher, Carey Downey, Nolan Hubbard, Steve Ingram, Jeff Jones, Don Lee, Steven Perry, Johnny Sargent, Gary Sue, and Terry Warren.
