She was preceded in death by her former spouse, Jesse Lamar Gates, Jr.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Noel Prisk; and her brother, Jerry Prisk. She is survived by her children Jason Gates and Ashley Gates of Jackson, Mississippi; and her sister, Betty Prisk Maloney of Madison, Mississippi.
A visitation will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
