Randy L. Knouse, 45, of Ridgeland MS, passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2021. He was a very successful and well respected Appraiser and Realtor who owned his own business, Professional Appraisal Firm in Ridgeland. He was dedicated to his profession and to all those he worked with.

Randy was the beloved son of David and Linda Knouse of Madison, MS. He is also survived by a brother, David Knouse Jr. of Ridgeland, and sister, Chrystal Praytor of Madison. He loved all of his family and friends, but the light of his life was his little daughter, Waverly Grey. He was the most amazing Dad any little girl could ever wish for. He loved her with all of his heart and soul.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 4 from 5-7 pm at Parkway Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS. Services will be at Pinelake Church in Madison on Saturday, June 5 at 11 am with visitation at 10 am.

Although our hearts are broken, and our lives will never be the same without him, we thank God for every single day that we were blessed to have Randy in our life. We will love and miss him every day until we are together once again.

I met Randy 16 years ago is a small group setting when I was going through a difficult time. His calm demeanor and reassuring words gave me hope. Later when I became a Realtor and served on the board with him we attended National Realtor meetings and recall how thrilled he and Kelly were preparing to welcome Waverly. He was always ready and willing to help with valuation questions, look out for Realtors when selecting a new MLS platform and help in any way. His knowledge of so many things was so vast. We always knew Waverly was the love of his life. He is a bright light taken too soon. He was a wonderful friend and will be sorely missed professionally and personally. My prayers are with his family.

Randy was a wonderful leader and enthusiastic REALTOR for not only Central Mississippi, but all our state. I can't recall a single time that he didn't have a smile. He loved his daughter with all his heart and often spoke of her. He was a credit to his profession and as a human being. My condolences and prayers of strength, love and peace is with all his family and friends.
