Randy Mowdy

Randy Mowdy, 60, died Sunday, October 30, 2011 at his home in Ridgeland. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Thursday at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland with interment in Bethel Cemetery in Sylverena, MS. Visitation is 5-7 PM today at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland.

Mr. Mowdy was born on July 20, 1951 in Union, Mississippi to Bessie and Cletus Mowdy. He was a graduate of Tylertown High School and The University of Southern Mississippi. He was very successful in his 35 year career in the Financial Services industry.

Mr. Mowdy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gershwyn and Annie Mowdy and Claudie and Donnie Dorman; his father, Walton Cletus Mowdy; and his son, Adam Randolph Mowdy. He is survived by his son, William Alexander “Alex” Mowdy of Madison; his mother, Bessie Ivon Mowdy of Pearl; his brother, Jerry Mowdy (Ruth) of Florence; and by his niece, Melissa Jones (Kevin) and their four beautiful children. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends; and by his beloved dog, “Scooter”.
