Richard Clyde Hudspeth

Richard C. Hudspeth, 59, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 9, 2012 at his home. Visitation will be on Sunday, Aug. 12. 2012 from 3-5 PM and on Monday at 9:00 AM followed by a 10:00 AM Memorial Service at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home, 1161 Highland Colony Parkway, Ridgeland, MS.Interment will follow in Parkway Memorial Cemetery.

Richard was born on July 26, 1953 to the late Elizabeth Grace Hudspeth And Willie Clyde Hudspeth in Jackson, MS. He attended the Jackson Public Schools and graduated from Wingfield High School and Hinds Community College.

For the past 10 years he was a devoted member of Celebrate Assembly of God Church in Clinton, MS and at one time served on the church board. Richard enjoyed his profession as a self-employed hairstylist and had won many awards over the past 30 years.

Richard was a loving husband and best friend to his wife, Nafie Saik Hudspeth. He dearly loved the Lord and his children.

Survivors include his wife, Nafie Jane of Clinton; daughter, Lisa Lowery (Lee) of Marietta, GA; sons Richard Tyler Hudspeth and Jeremy Ellis Hudspeth of Clinton; father Willie Clyde Hudspeth and step-mother Mickey Hudspeth of Ridgeland, MS; and sister, Barbara Pitcher (Lane) of Keary, NE.

Memorials may be made to Celebrate Church, 2001 Old Vicksburg Rd., Clinton, MS 39056 and CARA, 960 Flag Chapel Rd., Jackson, MS 39209.
