Robert “Bobby” Jefferson Barrow, 64, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Canon Hospice in Gulfport, MS. The funeral service was held on Monday, May 25 at Parkway Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Ridgeland, MS.
Bobby was born on February 23, 1951 in Jackson, MS and graduated from Pearl High School before briefly attending the University of Southern Mississippi. He had recently retired from Armstrong World Industries in Jackson, MS after 29 years of service.
He is survived by his son Robert Barrow (Michelle), step-daughters Kelly Butler (Eddie) and Jennifer Nix (Jody), sister Patsy Sackett (Fred), and grandchildren Dylan, Ryan, Delaney, Matthew, Cameron, Kaylee, and Kendall. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Ann Barrow, parents Donovan and Catherine Barrow, and brother Donovan Barrow, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bobby’s name to the American Cancer Society at Cancer.org.
