Anthony was born in Memphis, Tennessee on September 12, 1958 to Betty Cates and William Dillard, Sr. He attended Manhattan Academy in Jackson, MS and served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Anthony was always the life of the party and enjoyed riding horses, fishing, and hunting. He loved his grandchildren most of all. Anthony is survived by his 4 daughters, Adriene Hendry (C.J.) of Petal, Rebekah Dillard of Star, Meghan Dillard of Pearl, Molly Dillard of Brandon, 5 grandchildren (Peighton, Loghan, Camden, Paisley, Madalynn), brother William (Bill) Dillard, Jr. (Pennye) of Pelahatchie, and sister Denise Ashley (David) of Brandon. He was preceded in death by Morgan Collom, granddaughter, Michelle Ware, sister, William Dillard Sr., father, and Betty Cates, mother.
Services will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Trace Ridge Baptist Church, 238 Lake Harbour Dr, Ridgeland, MS 39157. Visitation will be held from 11 am to 2 pm with funeral services immediately following.
