Robert “Bobby” Delos Grigsby has departed to be with the Lord on February 13, 2025. He was born on October 23rd, 1948 to Hilda & Harold Grigsby in Memphis, Tennessee. Bobby spent his formative years growing up in Natchez, Mississippi. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 1972 with a Double Major in Marketing & Accounting, and he enjoyed his years of brotherhood as a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha ΛΧΑ Fraternity both during his years on campus and beyond. He devoted the majority of his career to the Convenience Store business in Jackson, MS.
He is proceeded in death by his parents and sister, Zoe Grigsby Wood, and his beautiful wife and best friend Carol Ann Statham Grigsby, who he was blessed to be married to for 46 years. He is survived in life by his nephew, Josh Statham & family, his niece, Leslie Easterling & family, his best friend, Mary Tina Smith, and God-children, Sharon Colleen Coker & family, and Adam Bradley Smith & family. He was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and loved the Ways & Means Sunday School class.
The Visitation will be February 18, 2025 from 10am-12pm; with the Funeral service at 12pm and burial to follow directly after at Parkway Funeral Home & Cemetery in Ridgeland, MS. The service will be officiated by Warren Coile. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church of Brandon, MS.
