Pete was born in Enumclaw, Washington on March 12, 1933 to Marion and Howard Peters. A proud member of the United States Army, Pete fought in the Korean and Vietnam Wars as a tank commander. He retired from the Army as a Master Sargent after thirty two years of service, and settled in Mississippi.
Pete loved coming to Wisconsin every year to see his kids and grandkids. He always come up over 4th of July and enjoyed watching fireworks.
Over the years of coming up you never knew what he would be driving. He was always driving a different Corvette, which he had a lifelong passion for. He also enjoyed a good cold beer and a round of golf with his kids and grandkids.
Pete will truly be missed by family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his son, Larry Peters and his daughter, Diane Wing.
He is survived by his son, Steve Peters and wife Tracy; daughter-in-law, Kristi Peters; grandchildren, Haley Wember and husband Tommy, Trevor Peters, Zoe Peters, Calvin Peters, Kaci Peters, Brian Wing, Sarah Wing, Cillian Wing and Shane Wing; and great grandchildren, Austin, Stella and Avery.
