Shirley is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Robert Smith; three children Meredith (Clyde) Lundy, Howard (Barbara) Smith, and Brian (Amy) Smith; five grandchildren Will Lundy, Harrison Smith, Jay (Lessie) Love, Carolyn (Josh) Love, and Gillian Love; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Shirley finished high school in Crystal Springs and attended the University of Southern Mississippi.
Shirley was a wonderful wife and mother, a faithful baseball and hunting mom who was always there for her family at every event. She was a friend to many and never met a stranger. A truly wonderful person with a smile that could light a room.
Shirley was very fond of special Pastors in her life Gay Bissell, Fawn Fortman and Cary Stockett who always offered friendship and guidance.
The Lord came calling and took an angel home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart Fund or to your favorite charity.
