Theodore Carl Pipper, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on July 24, 1935, in Detroit, Michigan, to Marvin Carl Pipper and Dorothy Keenhan Pipper.
Ted grew up alongside his brother, Donald Marvin Pipper, in a loving family that nurtured his lifelong values of honesty, kindness, humility, and respect for others.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1956 to 1961, demonstrating the same integrity, discipline, and sense of duty that would guide him throughout his life.
He shared 68 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Elizabeth Naseef Pipper, building a home filled with love, laughter, and faith. Together, they raised two sons, Mark Pipper (Teresa Artigues Pipper) and Matthew Pipper (Dawn Hooper Pipper), who were the pride of his life.
Ted retired from General Motors after 35 years of service, where he was admired for his dedication, reliability, and integrity. Beyond his professional life, he found joy in the simple pleasures—watching all sports, cheering on his favorite teams, and playing golf, a pastime he enjoyed throughout his years.
A proud grandfather to six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, Ted delighted in every visit, story, and laugh they shared. His gentle presence, wise counsel, and generous heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Known for his unwavering honesty, kindness, humility, and graciousness, Ted was a man who saw only the good in others. He was forgiving, loyal, and steady—qualities that endeared him to family, friends, and all who crossed his path.
A Memorial Mass celebrating Ted’s life will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Cathedral in Jackson, Mississippi.
