Travis A. (Bill) Warren

Bill was born in Magee, MS on August 25, 1930 to George Ellis and Effie Stewart Warren who preceded him in death along with his two brothers, J.D. Warren and Mitchell Warren.

Bill married Harriette Wigley, his wife of 61 years, and together they had three children, Steve (Carolyn) Warren, of Coldwater, MS, Nell (Will) Gardner, of Madison, MS, and Doug (Stephanie) Warren, of Madison, MS. He also leaves 7 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. He was a retired farmer and enjoyed a strong passion for working the earth. He especially loved spending quality time with his children and grandchildren, and had a deep love for his church. Upon retirement, traveling with his wife by his side, together they enjoyed seeing the 48 states with his Airstream group and spent the summer of 2006 in Alaska. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War.

Visitation will be held at Parkway Funeral Home, Friday, January 15, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church Madison on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm with visitation an hour prior at the church.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to FBC Madison Building Fund.
